It is that time of year again...  the smell of new shoes, glue sticks and new BOOKS.  The school year is starting and I couldn't be MORE EXCITED!  With our freshly weeded library, our shelves are begging to be filled with some great newbies, and as your librarian, I aim to please. 
Stop in and see what is new and check out the "Battle" Board outside of the library. 
My goal this year, as the librarian, is to make research, investigating and finding new information and books fun! 
We are going to be introducing iPads into our library research, publishing in different video formats, and talking a lot more about being "responsible" users of technology.  If you don't know what that means, don't worry, you will soon!
So finish up those last pages on your summer read, and get ready for a great year in the library!

I love the smell of NEW BOOKS!

New books are being shipped to us, as we speak.  I hope that they will arrive before Halloween.  There are around 150 new titles being added to our library.  Keep a look out for the new books..... happy reading!
